Raymond and his wife, Rachel, have been married for nearly 19 years and have four kids: Gabriella, Zeke, Bella, and Leo. Family is the center of everything for them.

Raymond gave his life to Jesus at thirteen. By seventeen he was already helping his youth pastor plant a church, and that early experience set the course for everything after. He found his calling there: building local churches and helping people actually encounter Jesus, not just hear about Him. Years later, after serving as an Executive Pastor at a multisite church in the Bay Area, Raymond and Rachel followed that same calling to one of the most beautiful, brilliant, and least-churched cities in America. They planted Our City Center in Berkeley, and they have given their lives to it ever since.

Raymond holds degrees in Youth Ministry and Theology and Organizational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Here is the thing, though. None of that is what gets him up in the morning. What drives him is simple, and it has not changed since he was thirteen: helping people know and love Jesus, and build their whole lives around Him.

Today Raymond and Rachel still lead Our City Center with that same passion. They believe church should be a place where people encounter Jesus, find real community, and discover the purpose God has for them. That is the whole dream. Everyone in, no one left out.
